Mobile Meals is a service provided by the Sarah D. Culbertson Memorial Hospital Food and Nutrition Services Department for individuals living within the Rushville city limits. Residents outside the city limits are encouraged to contact the Mobile Meals Coordinator to determine whether delivery is available in their area. Mobile meals are for the elderly, disabled, or those recovering from major surgery. We offer regular diet, diabetics, sodium restricted, healthy diet, or any other special diet as requested by the client's physician.
Delivery
Meals are delivered Monday through Friday between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. by a dedicated team of volunteers and hospital staff. A pickup option is also available for those who are able to pick up their meals. Please contact our office for additional information.
Menu
Mobile Meals menus are distributed weekly on Mondays, giving clients the opportunity to select their meal choices for the following week. Volunteers deliver and collect completed menus while making meal deliveries. Clients who live outside the city limits are provided with a designated place for menu pickup and drop-off.
We ask that all completed menus be returned by Friday. Menus follow a three-week rotating meal cycle, allowing clients to choose from a variety of meal options each week.
Options and Cancellations
Our Clients do not have to choose a meal every day. They can choose a meal for each day they would like. Additionally, if they would like to order an extra meal we can accommodate and the account will be billed accordingly. If a client needs to cancel their meal, that is not a problem, meals can be canceled anytime before 9 AM on the day the meal was to be delivered.

Cost
The cost of our Mobile Meals is currently $6.50 per meal and are billed on a monthly basis.
