Mobile Meals is a service provided by the Sarah D. Culbertson Memorial Hospital Food and Nutrition Services Department for those who live within the Rushville city limits. Mobile meals are for the elderly, disabled, or those recovering from major surgery.
Delivery
Our meals are delivered each weekday by a group of dedicated volunteers and hospital staff. These drivers deliver your meal to you at lunchtime only, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Mobile Meals are delivered Monday through Friday and on holidays. Meals are offered as regular, diabetic, sodium restricted or any other special diet as requested by the client's physician
If you would like a mobile meal on the weekend, arrangements can be made as long as you have someone available to pick up your meal at the Culbertson Café. This individual must be able to come to the Café and pick up the meal any time after 10:30 a.m. on the day requested.
Mobile Meal menus are delivered on a weekly basis every Tuesday. This gives our clients the chance to make their menu selections for the following week. Our staff will pick up the menus from our clients by Friday or they can be brought to the Culbertson Memorial Hospital Café/Dietary Office.
Options and Cancellations
Our Clients do not have to choose a meal every day. They can choose a meal for each day they would like. Additionally, if they would like to order an extra meal we can accommodate and the account will be billed accordingly. If a client needs to cancel their meal, that is not a problem, meals can be canceled anytime before 10 AM on the day the meal was to be delivered.

Cost
The cost of our Mobile Meals is currently $5.75 per meal and are billed on a monthly basis.
