We are seeking a full time, on site HIM Manager to join our team. As Critical Access Hospital located in Rushville, IL, Culbertson is committed to serving our community with excellence. Duties
- Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of Health Information Management in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Lead and manage Medical Staff services, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations.
- Oversee all health information processes, documentation standards, and departmental performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulations governing Critical Access Hospitals and Rural Health Clinics.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support quality, safety, and organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or extensive education/certifications in Health Information Management.
- Minimum three years experience in hospital or clinic coding (technical and professional components).
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations for Critical Access Hospitals and Provider-Based Rural Health Clinics.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
