Duties:
- Deliver hands-on therapy treatments under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, ensuring each patient receives safe, effective, and compassionate care
- Support patients in regaining strength, mobility, and function, helping them navigate recovery and adapt to physical challenges
- Encourage and motivate patients to reach their highest level of independence, building confidence throughout the rehabilitation process
- Collaborate with the therapy team to provide a consistent, high-quality care experience for every patient
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and healing environment by maintaining equipment and following infection control standards
- Participate in quality and performance improvement efforts that enhance patient outcomes and overall care delivery
- Engage in ongoing training and safety programs to ensure the highest standard of care for patients
Requirements:
- Current State of Illinois Physical Therapy Assistant License
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- BCLS (CPR) certification
